Our higher-protection option
Bear Armor is the maximum-protection build in the BearSeats line. It is made with a dense woven face, layered wear zones in the places a working seat takes the most abuse, and reinforced edges with protected piping.
- Dense woven face — a black, dense-looking technical weave across the seating surface.
- Layered wear zones — deep-forest overlay panels at the lower back, cushion edge, and bolsters.
- Reinforced edges — protected piping and structured seam channels with copper bar-tacks at stress points.
- Hardware clearance — patterned to keep seat controls, belts, and adjusters usable.
When to choose Bear Armor
Choose Bear Armor for seats that see constant in-and-out use, tools and gear on the cushion, and long shifts. It is our higher-protection option and looks visibly more layered than Bear Shield.

Installation
Installation and support
- Park the machine, set the brake, and remove tools, gear, and cushions from the seat.
- Fit the backrest section first, working the fitted edge over the top of the seat back and down each side.
- Fit the cushion section, aligning the hardware clearances with belts, switches, and adjusters before pulling the edges tight.
- Secure the fasteners and confirm every control, belt, and seat switch works exactly as it did before.

Does it work with air-ride and high-back seats?
The truck patterns are built around the high-back, air-ride style seats common in Class 7 and 8 tractors. If your cab has a non-standard seat or an aftermarket seat, tell us the seat brand and model when you order so we can confirm before production.
What about seat belts, armrests, and controls?
Covers are patterned with hardware clearance so belts, integrated belt guides, armrests, and adjusters stay usable. Do not route a seat belt over or under the cover in a way the seat manufacturer does not intend.
What is the difference between Bear Shield and Bear Armor?
